Below are my totally unreliable answers to some basic questions asked by new Beatles fans and other people who don't have a clue.

WHO ARE THE BEATLES?
The Beatles were a popular English rock group from the 1960s. The members' names are John Lennon (rhythm), Paul McCartney (bass), George Harrison (lead), and Ringo Starr (drums).

AREN'T THEY ALL DEAD?
Not yet. Well, two of them are, but not all of them. Not yet.

HOW DID TWO OF THEM DIE?
One of them was shot and the other got cancer. You work it out for yourself which is which.

WHICH TWO ARE STILL ALIVE?
Paul and Ringo.

IS RINGO STARR'S REAL NAME ACTUALLY RINGO STARR?
No, dude. Seriously? "Ringo Starr" is a stage name. His real name is Richard Starkey.

WHAT ARE THEIR BIG SONGS?
They've had dozens of top ten hits in all the important countries. My guess is, you've heard at least one of them in your life. Try "Hey Jude," "She Loves You," "In My Life," "Twist And Shout," "Let It Be," or "Yellow Submarine."

WHY DID THE BEATLES BREAK UP?
Because they couldn't fit all their egos in one room anymore. heh.

WHO IS YOKO ONO AND WHY DID SHE BREAK UP THE BEATLES?
Yoko Ono was John Lennon's second wife and is a Japanese artist living in New York City. She didn't break up the Beatles (see previous).

WHO IS HEATHER MILLS?
Heather Mills is the twat with one leg that tried to seduce and rob Paul McCartney. She only succeeded at about one and half of those. You may remember her as the one-legged woman on Dancing With The Stars whose prosthetic leg you bet your buddies would fly off every week on the dip.

WHAT MAKES THE BEATLES SO DAMNED SPECIAL?
Their music is fucking awesome, that's what.
